This DLC brings the might of four unique Assassin units to your disposal. Our second major DLC, Execution Force is now available to all players via Steam and the Epic Games Store. So as we can see, it's not as if there aren't any Knights to commune with. The Officio Assassinorum have arrived. Add his death to the untold numbers of Knights that die PRIOR TO where the story picks up. Hell the former Commander dies at the beginning of the campaign. No doubt there are an untold number of Knights that fell in battle PRIOR TO where the game and story line picks up. My point is that there should be an alternative system in place that rewards players for taking care of their Knights by not allowing any Knights to die, while also giving players access to the Commune with the Fallen mechanic. This system requires players that dont have any dead knights, to purposefully allow Knights to die, which requires players to do something that's 100% counter to gamer intuition and runs counter to anyone with a lick of common sense. The fact remains that there's a progression system in place to allow Knights to get past level 9. Sorry, this ridiculousness doesn't fly unless your Chaos. Yeah just go ahead and purposefully let your Knights, who have gone through decades of training, transplant's and mental conditioning, let them die in order to make other Knights a bit stronger. We could also get into the lore aspect for anyone that enjoys the role play aspect of 40K. These are your stand points? You denigrate and chastise other players and fans of 40K for pointing out OBVIOUS truths? Suggests that no Knights ever died prior to where the story and game picks up in the 40K time line. Suggests that forcing a player to allow their characters to die, doesn't go against common sense. Suggests that going out of our way OVER A SPAN OF SEVERAL MISSIONS and purposefully allowing a Knight to die in order to access a progression system, is in fact, an infallible design choice. Originally posted by Sir Fluffykins:Wants to commune with their dead knights, that aren't dead, to recover their lost points, that aren't there to recover, cause they aren't dead.Ĭomplains about not being able to use this great feature of recovering dead Knights points unless they "purposefully" kill a Knight and that it goes against "common sense".
